Brigitte Collins Powell

Brigitte is a Director at AXA Financial in the Internal Audit Department providing audit coverage for the product, distribution and service organizations. Prior to joining AXA, Brigitte spent two years with Insurance Services Office, Inc. as an Auditor and 12 years with the New York City Office of the Comptroller where she was an Audit Supervisor.

Brigitte has a BBA specializing in Accounting from Hofstra University and has studied abroad in London, England.

As a member of the NY Chapter Brigitte has been a part of the Professional Development Committee for the past four years. Her roles within the committee has included serving as Co-Chair for the chapter’s Annual Audit Seminar for two years and Co-Chair of the Academics Relations Committee for two years.

On a personal note, Brigitte is married with one daughter and resides in Westchester County. Brigitte is also an active member of her community from participating in leadership roles with the PTA to being a Girl Scout Leader in the Westchester/Putnam Council.
