Richard Dapcic

Richard Dapcic is a Managing Director in NYSE Group’s Corporate Audit practice. He has been in the Internal Audit profession for over 20 years, with a primary focus in the financial and insurance industry. In his current role, Mr. Dapcic is responsible for managing financial and operational audits of NYSE Group and it’s subsidiaries, and reporting the results of these audits to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining NYSE Group in June 2000, Mr. Dapcic was an Assistant General Auditor for New York Life Insurance Company, where he was responsible for managing reviews of both domestic and international operations. During his tenure at New York Life, Mr. Dapcic spent several months in England assisting a subsidiary in improving their control environment and establishing an internal audit function.

Mr. Dapcic received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s degree in Finance from St. John’s University. In addition, he is a member of both the Institute of Internal Auditors (“IIA”) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
