Business & Industry Committee Event: Recognizing Money Laundering Red Flags and conducting an Investigation

Tuesday, June 21st 2005

Due to overwhelming response, registration to this event is now closed.

One of the keys to being able to identify money laundering is understanding the sorts of actions and patterns of transactions - "The Red Flags" - that may indicate illegal behavior. It is essential that financial institutions consider these red flags as guidance and exercise judgment in identifying other transactions that may be unusual or indicate potential money laundering.

Presented by David C. Boch, Nicholas M. Gess, and Kenneth I. Schacter of Bingham McCutchen, LLP. This event will be held at the Citicorp Building, 399 (cross streets: Park Ave between 53rd & 54th), in New York City. The program will run from 9am to 11am, with breakfast served at 8:30am.

There is no fee for this event, however, pre-registration is required in order to facilitate planning.  Mail, fax, or email your registration form to Michael Lugo/Andrea Perkins as soon as possible – seats are limited.  Attendees will earn three CPE credits.
