Please contact Diane Napolitano for membership information. Among the services available from which benefits can be derived by membership are:
Publications: As a member you receive a bi-monthly professional journal, The Internal Auditor, The Institute's monthly newsletter, IIA Today and the New York Chapter's monthly newsletter, New York Reports.
Chapter Activities: Monthly technical meetings, monthly workshops, and social activities.
Research: The IIA Research Foundation is in the unique position of expanding the internal auditing profession and assisting the practitioner through research. The New York Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors has always promoted and encouraged chapter research projects. Our efforts to provide or recommend meaningful material to the Research Foundation will greatly enhance the position of the New York Chapter.
We can achieve our goal if members of our chapter cooperate by submitting or having a professor, student or other individual submit a research project to the New York Chapter. The Research Committee of the New York Chapter will endeavor to aid any interested party in their research project during the forthcoming Chapter year.
Certified Internal Auditor Program: The CIA designation is a recognized acknowledgement of professional competence in internal auditing.
Speakers Bureau: The Speakers Bureau is an important source for civic and professional meetings in the New York area.
Continuing Education Program: Opportunities are presented for members to attend Chapter Meetings, Workshops, Seminars and Conferences across the country. In addition, the New York Chapters Audit Seminar always features an outstanding technical program.
Employment: An employment service is provided for the mutual benefit of members and employers. Our Employment Committee provides free confidential services to internal auditors seeking positions and to organizations seeking internal auditors. Please visit our Employment Opportunities page for job postings sent to us by organizations.
